A tour of your dashboard

A quick orientation to the Billboard dashboard — the sidebar, your galleries, a gallery's tabs, and where account and display settings live.

Last updated 8 July 2026

Everything in Billboard is managed from one web dashboard — no software to install to run it. Here's where things live so you can find your way around quickly.

The dashboard, with the sidebar on the left and your galleries in the main area

The sidebar

Down the left is your navigation:

  • Galleries — every gallery you've made, so you can jump straight to one. This is the heart of Billboard: a gallery holds the media and settings for a set of screens.
  • Your account (bottom-left) — your name and current plan. Open it for Settings, to send Feedback, or to sign out.
  • Upgrade — jumps to plan options when you need more screens.

Your galleries

The main area lists your galleries as cards. Each card shows a thumbnail, the gallery's name, how many items it holds, its total size, and its short code — the code people enter on an Apple TV to play that gallery. Select New gallery to create one; see Getting started.

Open a gallery and you'll find three tabs, plus a banner telling you when your screens will next pick up changes:

  • Media — add, reorder, crop and remove your images and video. See Upload and organise media.
  • Settings — how this gallery plays: item timing, the on-screen clock, the AirPlay panel, video behaviour and the refresh interval. See Customise the display.
  • Connect — the gallery's code and manifest URL for pointing an Apple TV (or a whole fleet via MDM) at it.

Account and dashboard settings

Open Settings from the account menu for everything that isn't gallery-specific:

The Settings panel, with its sections down the left

  • General — your plan at a glance, plus dashboard appearance (light/dark) and accent colour.
  • Gallery — the account-wide screen notice and the Keep original photos option.
  • Billing — your plan, payment method and invoices.
  • Storage — how much space you're using and how to reclaim it.
  • Security — password and sign-in.
  • Account — your name, organisation, email and account deletion.

Each of these has its own guide — see Dashboard appearance and settings, Storage and original photos, and Plans, billing & screen limits.
